Marketing your spa or wellness center is all about making your clients feel good. You want them to walk away from your spa feeling pampered and excited to return the next time they need a day to themselves. By rewarding your valuable and loyal customers you encourage them to return again and again and it gives them a reason to spend the money on pampering themselves – because they know they’re getting a good deal! Establish a loyalty program for your spa or wellness center to build a loyal customer base and get repeat business using these tips:
Create a Wellness Guide
When your customers first sign up for your loyalty program make sure you get their e-mail addresses so you can add them to your email marketing list. You can get people to sign up by offering them a free eBook or Wellness Guide that shows them tips and techniques for beauty, relaxation and more. Your guide should include descriptions of all of the services your provide and let your customers know why your services are valuable to them and how they will help with their overall wellbeing. Provide tips on how to lower stress levels, eliminate toxins, and add healthy nutrients to their diets. Your customers will love that you are going above and beyond to help them feel good.
Give them discounts and coupons
For your clients who always come for a facial, try offering them a discount for a massage so they will start coming to you for two services instead of just one. Your customer may have reservations about trying out a new service but with a discount they will be more likely to give something else a try. If you say that the coupon is only available for a limited time then it will create a sense of urgency so if they were already considering scheduling an appointment for a new service, this will be the deciding factor for them.
Start a points system as part of your loyalty program and give your customers points every time they schedule an appointment for a manicure or purchase a new product. The more purchases and appointments they make, the more points they will get and those points can then be redeemed for free samples, coupons, service discounts, etc. Customers will be happy to receive these special rewards and they will keep coming back for more.
Starting a referral program is also a great way to get new customers. When a customer signs up for your loyalty program, ask them to share the names, numbers, and emails of a handful of friends and family members to refer to your spa. Give them a call or send them an email letting them know that their friend referred them to you and ask if they would like to book an appointment. For each referral who schedules an appointment, you can give the original referrer points and reward them with upgraded services, free samples, or discounts.
